Cyberbikes Supports FTC Team 19218, We Love STEM!

Cyberbikes has stepped up this season as a proud sponsor of FTC Team 19218 We Love STEM, a robotics team organised by AARAS Education, the Australian Academy of Robotics and STEM.

Our support helped the team push deeper into engineering, testing, and competition, and it gave students the chance to work with parts and tools that would have been out of reach otherwise.

The team entered the season with a bold design and a strong mechanical base. Even with promising early work, they faced challenges that shaped their performance and taught them a lot about what it takes to run a competitive robotics program.

One team member shared an honest look at the experience:

“Our robot had a strong mechanical foundation, but we ran into a few issues that held us back, which were mainly late part approvals. We also had limited testing time, and some software gaps that we were not able to fix before regionals.”

“It was disappointing, but it highlighted exactly where our management and workflow need improvement. The idea is to bring in better project management and keep the workflow smooth.”

“Thank you again for your support this season. Even though we did not reach nationals, everything we built and learned is going straight into making next season stronger, more structured, and more competitive.”

Comments like these show the real value of programs like AARAS Education. Robotics is not only about building machines. It is about learning how to collaborate, organise work, manage deadlines, solve real problems, and stay grounded when things do not go as planned.

Cyberbikes’ support helped the team gain that experience. It gave students a season filled with lessons they can now use to build a smoother, faster, and more capable team culture.

We Love STEM is moving toward a more focused and efficient approach, and sponsors like Cyberbikes play a key role in that growth. The team is grateful for the backing and excited to show what they can achieve in the next season.
