Felipe first stepped onto the mats in April 2014, earning his first stripe on his white belt. Like many, life pulled him away from training, and for nearly a decade, BJJ took a backseat.
Then, in September 2023, he decided to return—this time, with a renewed purpose.
Fast forward to August 2024: Felipe became the Australian National Champion in the White Belt Master 1 (30-35 years old) 82.3kg Middleweight division.
Since then, every competition has been a win or a lesson, solidifying his presence as a force in Australian BJJ.
